These terms apply when you use the EventMytra website and buy tickets through it. "We" means EventMytra. By creating an account or buying tickets you agree to them.
1. What we do
EventMytra is a marketplace. Event organizers list their events and sell tickets through us. The organizer is responsible for the event itself: the date, the venue, the lineup, safety and what happens on the day. We are responsible for selling the tickets, taking payment and delivering your e-tickets.
2. Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your password private.
- You must be at least 16 to create an account, or have a parent's permission.
- We can suspend accounts used for fraud, ticket scalping or abuse.
3. Buying tickets
- Prices are in Canadian dollars. A service fee and sales tax (GST, HST or QST, depending on the event's province) are shown before you pay.
- Tickets are held for a few minutes while you check out. If the hold runs out, the tickets go back on sale.
- Some events use Live pricing: the price moves with demand between limits the organizer sets. The price you see when you tap Get tickets is the price you pay.
- Each ticket has its own QR code and admits one person once. Don't share screenshots of your QR: the first scan wins.
- We may limit how many tickets one person can buy.
4. Sending tickets to a friend
You can send tickets to another person up to 2 hours before the event starts. The friend gets new QR codes and yours stop working.
5. Refunds
See our Refund policy.
6. At the event
The organizer and venue can refuse entry or remove guests for safety reasons, age limits or behaviour. Their rules apply.
7. Organizers
Organizers agree to list only events they are allowed to sell, to describe them accurately and to honour every valid ticket. We review events before they go on sale and can remove listings. Payouts are made to the organizer's connected bank account, minus our fee.
8. Limits of our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by the organizer, the venue, or events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer protection law in your province.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the bottom shows the latest version.
